PROJECT OVERVIEW
Location:
Greater Vancouver Area
Project Type:
Warehouse Floor Stabilization
Area Restored:
10,000 sq ft
Solution:
Precision Polyurethane Injection
A high-volume Grainger Canada distribution warehouse experienced ongoing slab settlement across multiple areas of the facility. Uneven floor conditions began impacting forklift movement, pallet handling, equipment efficiency, and overall workplace safety.
Because the warehouse was operating at full capacity, the repair solution needed to be:
• Fast• Non-invasive• Safe for active operations• Completed without shutting down distribution flow
Our team implemented a precision polyurethane lifting and stabilization system that restored slab performance while allowing warehouse operations to continue uninterrupted.
Distribution operations needed to remain fully functional throughout the repair process, requiring phased work and minimal disruption to active warehouse traffic.
Our team utilized a targeted polyurethane injection process to lift and stabilize the affected slab areas. Small injection points were drilled throughout the floor, allowing for controlled placement of high-density polyurethane beneath the concrete.
As the material expanded, it filled voids and gently raised the slab back to the desired elevation. Work was completed in phases to maintain full warehouse functionality, allowing operations to continue safely during the repair process.
The lightweight polyurethane restored structural support beneath the slab without adding significant load to the unstable subgrade.
